Location:
ELSM Ranch is located outside of the community of Quail, approximately 13 miles west of Wellington. Amarillo International Airport is less than a hour and a half drive from the property and the ranch is approximately 196 miles to Oklahoma City, OK.
Water:
There is one spring-fed pond on ELSM Ranch that holds water for the majority of the year. Additionally, a seasonal creek runs through the property, creating an attraction for wildlife. There is also one solar well that was recently installed to replace the windmill.
Hunting:
The area is known for white tailed deer and quail populations. There is also the occasional wild hog, along with dove and turkey hunting opportunities. The tree and ground cover, along with the availability of water, are conducive to attracting wildlife to the property.
History:
The ranch has been used for hunting and other recreational purposes in most recent years. There is ±76 acres enrolled in Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) through 2031.
Improvements:
ELSM Ranch is established for both benefits of hunting and ranching. You are welcomed into the property by a nice pipe entrance along CR U. The perimeter of the property is fenced with barbed wire fencing and a small working pen is located near the solar well on the northeastern boundary.

The majority of the property has varying elevation changes from 2180 feet along the creek bottoms, to 2280 feet on the eastern side where the CRP is located. The soils here within are listed with accompanying percentages for area of interest totaling 100%: Veal-Woodard complex (Md) 49.25%, Woodward-Yahola-Breaks complex (Wy) 22.18%, Miles fine sandy loam (MfB) 11.60%, Quinlan-Woodward loams (Qw) 5.79%, Veal fine sandy loam (MaD) 4.69%, Granfield-Altus complex (MeA) 4.61% and Miles loamy fine sand (MiB) 1.88%.

In Quail, from TX-203, turn south onto FM 1547. Take FM 1547 to CR U and turn west. ELSM Ranch is location 4.8. miles west on CR U.
