Spanish Skirts Ranch Tracts are located about 17 miles south of Claude. They are found just about an hour drive from Amarillo and positioned between Claude and Silverton, off of Hwy 207. These tracts are ideally located outside of town, in the pockets of privacy and seclusion the Panhandle offers.
Due to the elevation changes, there are multiple seasonal creeks and Coyote Creek passing through the ranch tracts. There are multiple tank ponds that hold water for the majority of the year to provide water for livestock or wildlife. No existing water wells are on any of the tracts.
The area is known for great hunting. You can find a healthy population of mule deer, white-tail deer, quail, hogs, bobcats and tons of aoudad sheep. Spanish Skirts Ranch Tracts hold plenty of Texas History. They were once part of the historic JA Ranch, which was founded by Charles Goodnight and John Adair. The properties are accessible from paved roads and dirt ranch roads. Tract 1 and Tract 3 are accessible from State HWY 207 and the other tracts are accessible from a dirt ranch road.
From Claude, travel south on TX-207 S/Hurley Ave for 20 miles and then the properties will be on the east side of the road.
