Location:
Turkey Creek Ranch is ideally located about 9 miles north of Turkey, TX. Amarillo International Airport is less than an hour and a half from the property, Lubbock is approximately 110 miles from the property, and it is approximately 201 miles southwest of Oklahoma City, OK. Exceptional access on paved Highway 70, with approximately 2 miles of frontage.
Water:
There is a windmill that provides livestock water along with a natural spring located in the northwest canyon, where the water table is very high.
Hunting:
The area is known for mule deer, wild hog and abundant turkey. The tree cover, canyon terrain and availability of water are conducive to attracting other native wildlife to the property.
History:
This ranch was once apart of the historic Goodnight Ranch. Boasting canyon terrain, the ranch is also a part of the Caprock Escarpment canyon system, within 10 miles of the Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway.

A solar ray system consisting of 9 solar panels, with back-up propane generator, provides power for the cabins. The ranch also includes perimeter barb-wire fencing and one windmill.

Landscape:
The property boasts over 250 foot of elevation changes, great for recreational uses. Numerous deep draws run throughout the property providing excellent habitat for wildlife and ample opportunities for hiking and ATV exploration down bluffs and along dry creek beds. Abundant native cover including cedar and mesquite cover the property. The soils here within are listed with accompanying percentages for area of interest totaling 100%: Rough Broken Land (Rb) 54.37%, Woodward- Quinlan Complex (WwD) 38.24%, Obaro and Quinlan Soils (OQE) 3.62%, Quinlan and Bursin Soils (QBG) 2.7% and Quinlan-Woodward Complex (Qw) 1.08%.

The property is outside of any municipality so is not zoned. There are no known easements that would affect operation of the land. It is anticipated all existing easements will be identified by surveyors.

This ranch is located on the west line on Hall County and a little part of this ranch that is in Briscoe County. Turkey Creek Ranch lies directly off of HWY 70 and west of HWY 287.
Access:
The property is accessible for paved highway access. Highway 70 runs along the east property line of the ranch, allowing for over 0.5 miles of highway frontage.
Directions:
From Turkey, take 9th St to HWY 70 N. Travel on HWY 70 N for 10.2 miles and the property will be on the west side of the road.
