Aside from the live water of Ballard Creek that snakes through the southeast corner of the property, there is a spring and 1 windmill providing water for the rest of the pasture land.

Hunting: 
Motley county is home to a healthy population of whitetail deer, quail, wild hogs, and other small game. Thanks to the availability of water year-round and varying topography, the hunting on Ballard Creek Ranch is exceptional.

History: 
Once part of the historic Matador Ranch, the history is rich! Over the years, the property has mostly been used to run cattle and some hunting. Currently, the ground is leased for both grazing and hunting.

The perimeter of the property is completely fenced. There are also a set of working pens with a shed, located centrally on the ranch.
