Location:
Hub Grain Facility is very accessible and is located south of the Hub community. The property sits 9 miles south of Friona and is on the east side of HWY 214. Several large dairies and feedyards are near the property. Amarillo is less than an hour and a half drive away.

History:
Throughout the years, this facility has been used to store grain for local farmers. Hub Grain Facility was built in the 1950s and has been maintained since.
Improvements:
Hub Grain Facility can hold a total of 1,726,000 bushels of grain. There are three warehouses used for flat storage that all have aeration. Grain is moved throughout the facility using two elevator legs. The east barn is a clear span barn with capability for side loading. A 80 ft. in-ground scale was installed in 2009. The scale house and office are located off of HWY 214. Remolded in 2009, the office is in good condition with a new roof.
A house sits on the southeast corner of the property that has recently been updated. An updated garage sits behind the house.
Landscape:
The property is mostly flat and conducive for general agricultural uses. The soils here within are listed with accompanying percentages for area of interest totaling 100%: Olton clay loam (OcA) 52.73%; Olton loam (OtA) 22.46%; Olton clay loam (OcB) 13.13%; Randall clay (RaA) 4.68%; Olton loam ( OtB) 3.05%; Berda fine sandy loam ( BeD) 2.34%; Acuff loam (AcC) 1.6%.
