History:
Built in 1982, this facility has been in operation for over 40 years. The grain bins and the office were a few of the first buildings to be built.
Improvements:
Panhandle East Grain Facility features seven metal grain bins with a combined capacity of 608,000 bushels. The facility includes an uncovered dump pit with a 10,000 bushel/hour leg. Also, there is a 3,000 bushel/hour train car leg and a dryer that are currently not in use.
Grain is handled at the facility via the 1 10,000 bushel/hour elevator leg, 1 10' x 60' in-ground truck scale, conveyor systems, grain storage aeration fans and grain probes. Grain is moved from the dump pit to the storage bins via the elevator leg.
There is a 1,200 sq. ft. office building on the property that was built in 1982 that includes individual offices, a reception area, and bathrooms. Adjacent from the office building is the in-ground truck scale. A 7,200 sq. ft. warehouse sits on the north property line, just west of the office building. Established gravel parking and driveways create a flow for traffic.
Exclusions:
The exclusions from the sale of this property include: all inventories owned by or under the control of the seller, all rolling stock on the property, all office furniture and equipment, all signage and all personal property owned by third parties.
Zoning/Easements:
The property is inside Panhandle city limits. There are no known easements that would affect operation of the facilities. It is anticipated that all existing easements will be identified by surveyors.
