Randall County Master Gardeners Plant Sale

A delightful plant sale put on by the Randall County Master Gardeners from 9 AM – 2 PM. There will be a variety of indoor and outdoor plants including veggies and the ever popular succulents. Along with the plants there will be flower boxes, tomato cages, soil probes, and mason bee houses for sale.

Sole 4 Soul Downtown Run

“The PARC is hosting Sole 4 Soul  – a downtown run supporting those who are experiencing homelessness in Amarillo.  This event will take place from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.  It is meant for everyone from the most competitive runners to a family looking for a fun Saturday morning.  There are three routes to choose from: 1 mile, 5K, and 10K!”

Esquire Jazz Band at Starlight Canyon

“Starlight Canyon Bed & Breakfast will be hosting the Esquire Jazz Band on Saturday May 1st, 2021 at 2 PM. There will be live music, food truck vendors, henna tattoos, and more. Tickets are $10/each online or $15/each at the gate.”

“Parker McCollum and William Beckmann make their way back to Amarillo Friday May 7th!  This will be an outdoor show with limited capacity.  This will be a family friendly show welcoming all ages (guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult)  Gates will open at 7PM and food and alcohol will be available for purchase on site.  Outside food and beverages, folding chairs, outside coolers, and pets will not be permitted.”

Designer Bag Bingo Night

“Come join the fun and play bingo for a chance to win a designer bag. All proceeds raised go directly to Randall County 4-H. This will help support our youth, fund projects, community service projects, and scholarships. Hosted at the Chateau Event and Wedding Venue, starting at 6:30 PM.”

“Meet a Horse Day” at Dove Creek Equine Rescue

“Come meet the Amazing Horses and Barnyard animals at Dove Creek Equine Rescue from 11:00 – 3:00 PM on May 22nd!  It will be located in the Large Indoor Arena open to outside.  This will be a fun filled day of activities for all ages.  Adults and kids 6 and up $5/person. Kids 5 & under Free. Meet the barnyard animals – the mini horses, June the mini Burro, and Tico the goat!  They will be in small pens inside our Indoor Arena.  Dove Creek will also be hosting food trucks, live music, games, face painting, raffle tickets with great door prizes, merchandise, and short training demos hosted by the head horse trainer Frank Castillo.”

Raptor Run & Museum Fun at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum

“Run like you are being chased! Join us for our first RAPTOR RUN through the WTAMU Campus! Following the race, there will be lots of great dinosaur activities for kids and families to celebrate the newest traveling exhibit to PPHM! “Starting at 11 AM at Sam Houston Park. We will have games the entire family will enjoy. Live music with Monarch!
